These symbols embody harmony born from contrast. They are mythological creatures composed of two animals traditionally seen as enemies, now fused into one.
By uniting opposites, they represent the transformation of conflict into balance.

(1) In Buddhist mythology, garudas are divine bird-like beings. They represent strength, freedom and equilibrium.
(2) Makara is an aquatic creature, sometimes identified as a crocodile, other times as a dragon with a trunk. It symbolizes water, the source of life and fertility.
