Lamaism in Tibet is divided into several schools.
One of the most characteristic is that of the rNin ma pa, "the Ancients".
Monks of this tradition wear different hats, each representing a specific spiritual and hierarchical role within the school.
The DVAGS ZVA hat was worn by Gampopa, one of the main guru of the Kagyu Tibetan buddhist school that, according to the legend, took shape from a pair of shoes given to him from Mi la ras pa (Milarepa), to which he was strongly devoted.

The african turquoise is one of the most ancient stones, beautiful and rich in mystery.
In the old Egypt it was considered able to protect and purify, so it was used also as container for food and drinks.
The pharaohs cups was made in african turquoise that protected from deseases, infections and bad energies.

Use and maintenance

Each Tamashii^® product is made to last over time if all the basic use and maintenance suggestions are followed.

All the materials have natural origins, so their lifetime and characteristics are variable and unpredictable. Chemicals can modify and affect their appearance and durability, meaning that over time they can produce variations of the colours and polishes.

Some stones are naturally matte and we apply polish on them through a mechanical treatment. In the long term they can go back to their original aspect.

We recommend:
• avoid contact with make-up, creams, perfumes and chemicals
• don’t expose the products to chlorine, soaps or salt water
• not to wear Tamashii® jewels while taking a bath or shower, in the swimming pool or during housecleaning
