Lamaism in Tibet is divided into several schools.
One of the most distinctive and ancient is that of the rNin ma pa, or “the Ancients.”
Monks of this school wear different types of hats, each representing a specific spiritual and hierarchical role.
The RIG ZVA hat is worn by students who have passed the Sgrub Grva examination, which is reserved for the Grub Bla Ma and the abbots (Gdan sa).

Since the dawn of civilisation, lapis lazuli has been one of the most remarkable and renowned precious stones.
It was often used during Mesopotamian rituals and it was considered the place where the purest essence of the divine resides.
Wearing lapis lazuli contributes to make a person more trustworthy and honest, while remaining at peace with choices made in the past.

Tamashii® original pendant RIG ZVA with LAPIS LAZULI natural stones.
In 925 Silver, engraved with "Om Mani Padme Hūm", mantra related to the Buddha of compassion Chenrezig, among of the most known and widespread mantra in buddhism.
The stone diameter is 10 mm and the pendant is equipped of cotton cord (65cm) with original Tamashii® fastener.

Use and maintenance

Each Tamashii^® product is made to last over time if all the basic use and maintenance suggestions are followed.

All the materials have natural origins, so their lifetime and characteristics are variable and unpredictable. Chemicals can modify and affect their appearance and durability, meaning that over time they can produce variations of the colours and polishes.

Some stones are naturally matte and we apply polish on them through a mechanical treatment. In the long term they can go back to their original aspect.

We recommend:
• avoid contact with make-up, creams, perfumes and chemicals
• don’t expose the products to chlorine, soaps or salt water
• not to wear Tamashii® jewels while taking a bath or shower, in the swimming pool or during housecleaning
