Shönu is a special collection of Tamashii® bracelets dedicated to the younger generations.
The Tibetan word Shönu is used to refer to a young person and ‘those who will be forever young’.
With this new series of jewels we wish to celebrate youthful energy and boldness, trusting that these gifts will never abate.
The predominant feature of the bracelets is the GZI gemstone present in each jewel.
The GZI onyx stones are worked adopting ancient manual methods to create symbolic designs and figures. Inspired by ancient Buddhist traditions, the signs presented in the jewels express simple, ancient and yet extremely powerful concepts. According to the ancient tradition each symbol must present a force supporting the classic Tantras, adhering to and reinforcing the principles of Buddhist philosophy.

For thousands of years, Jade has been revered as a symbol of good fortune and was used in amulets. Confucius (551 - 479 BC) described this stone as embodying and imparting eleven virtues, including benevolence, loyalty, propriety, and sincerity.

While joy is seen as a personal emotional state for those who dwell in the Western quarter of the world, for those in the East such a condition may be achieved only by sharing one’s insight and values. This symbol reflects the pleasure deriving from a social life enriched by facilitating friendship and sharing.

Each bracelet is composed of 6 mm stones and the minimum length is 14 cm, however these jewels are suitable
for any physical size (also large wrists) thanks to the slots present in the cord.

As these are natural stones, slight variations in shade, texture, or color are entirely normal.
These features are a guarantee of authenticity and make each Tamashii® jewel unique and one of a kind.

Use and maintenance

Each Tamashii^® product is made to last over time if all the basic use and maintenance suggestions are followed.

All the materials have natural origins, so their lifetime and characteristics are variable and unpredictable. Chemicals can modify and affect their appearance and durability, meaning that over time they can produce variations of the colours and polishes.

Some stones are naturally matte and we apply polish on them through a mechanical treatment. In the long term they can go back to their original aspect.

We recommend:
• avoid contact with make-up, creams, perfumes and chemicals
• don’t expose the products to chlorine, soaps or salt water
• not to wear Tamashii® jewels while taking a bath or shower, in the swimming pool or during housecleaning
